  • Is it nature (genes) or nurture (environment)?

If science is going to marry biology & psychology must it disprove the science in existance?

We shall see I guess whether or not the science brought up to bear on understanding humans by B. F. Skinner will be brought down by a new science.

I'm guessing new science of understanding humans will be related to medical treatments & whether or not there is a God vs. evolution.

I'll state up front that I am a radical behaviorist Christian.

  • "radical behaviorist Christian" sounds oxymoron

  • Skinner's right about morals & freedom. Wrong only on philosophy. Man is not a "caged ape," but rather able to condition more fully by thought then by action in environment. Still thought is controlled by external stimulus, but thought conditions more. Hence your free will is merely a sharpened discriminative control.

Ray, B. (1969) Selective attention: the effects of combining stimuli which control incompatible behavior. J. of the Exp. Analysis of Beh., 12, 539-550.

    Now is it interesting?

  • Or maybe just a moron. Accept my offer of friendship and find out.

  • We can't quantify all understanding of conditioning, but we know it runs deep thanks to 1 of fathers of applied behavior analysis, Dr. Todd Risley.

"Meaningful Differences in the everyday experience of young American children" & "The Social World of Children Learning to Talk" by Dr. Betty Hart & Dr. Todd Risley.

In any case, science so far has proven this man doesn't know anything about what independent variables in the world give you your I.Q (the dependent variable).

    Read the books.
