Can't Guy Ritchie a classic and expect it to be any good. There's no way of getting around the fact that younger people simply lack the character.

Gave one show a chance but had to switch over. Richie too annoying to watch.

No...RESPECT the past & acknowledge that most tv today is made by cynical young producers who don't care about their work. It's poorly written rubbish, starring ex Pontins reps, blokes off adverts & mockneys in designer clothes...all to a pointless soundtrack in the Guy Ritchie empty headed style.
The original Minder was well written, well acted, properly paced & did not assume the audience were idiots.

i'll watch it, but i just dont think you can ever re do a classic.
the italian job should never have been remade cos the original was brilliant,, i just hope this dont spoil the name minder as a programme
