Airplanes Ch.3

Abbey's P.O.V
We went downstairs and set the table, then all sat down and said grace before digging in.
Joe- so, what are we all doing tomorrow?
Joe said with his mouth full of food.
Dad- I thought we could all spend some time home together.
Abbey- uh, I've got dancing all day, I've got competition coming up soon.
Dad- well you'll just have to take tomorrow off.
Abbey- dad! I'm doing 9 dances and i've choreographed 2 other dances for other people for competition! I have to go tomorrow!
Dad- don't raise your voice at me Abbey.
He scolded.
Abbey- sorry.
I mumbled.
Dad- now, you can call the people that are expecting you at the dance studio and say that you've got other things on, we're spending the day together and that's final.
We all stayed silent, looking down at our food.
I pushed my plate away and looked up at mum.
Abbey- may I please leave the table?
Mum- put your plate up and then you can leave.
I nodded and got up, then cleaned the plate, then went upstairs to my room and put my socks on, then got my ipod and went out the back and rehearsed my solo contemporary routine.
Nick's P.O.V
We all looked up at dad, frowning.
Joe- what if there was a jonas thing on dad?
Dad- we wouldn't be spending the day together at home if there was a jonas thing joseph that's why we're spending the day tomorrow.
Joe- so our jonas brothers stuff is more important than her dancing? You can get her to cancel her dancing but you wouldn't ever cancel a JB thing.
Mum- they're right Kevin, what she's doing is no different to what the boys are doing, she's working so hard on these routines, she spends all day at the Academy. Not dance studio, academy.
Kevin- Academy?
Mum- she got full access to the L.A Dance Academy over the summer, she has a room that only she uses, and she has full access to the gym, pool, everything.
Dad- wow.
Nick- Maybe we could go there with her? I mean, she sits and watches our concerts, and she sits in the studio all day for us, lets go and watch her.
Joe- YES!!! Maybe she could teach me something!
Kevin- like how to walk in a straight line?
Joe pouted and we all laughed.
Nick- i'll go ask her.
I went out the back and watched her hum along and dance, when she had finished she fell back onto the grass and sighed.
I went and layed down, resting my head on her tummy, she reached down and played with my hair.
Nick- so, we were all talking, and we thought it would be fun to go with you, to watch you dance.
She laughed.
Abbey- yeah, it's as much fun as sitting and watching the same concert every night.
I chuckled.
Nick- so it's time for us to make up for all the times you were bored out of your mind.
Abbey- kay.
Nick- come on, dad probably wants us in bed.
We got up and went to our own rooms.
I walked into the bathroom that connects abbey's and my rooms together, abbey was rinsing her mouth out and putting her toothbrush away.
Abbey- night.
She hugged me tight and i kissed her head and wrapped my arms around her, when she pulled away she skipped to her room and the light went out.
