And no, cannibalism is eating other humans. The placenta is designed by nature for ALL mammals to consume. It is the only organ that sustains life and does not take life to be consumed. You are not informed about the true benefits of consuming the placenta, obviously. And yes, you are judging harshly and this is your opinion, not fact. You may think what you want but your common sense is based on nothing and truth and fact are just that. It is mainstream "common sense" that is failing us all.

@sonicpreacher1 You should actually use the cord blood for that baby, who is the owner of that blood. The benefits of delayed cord clamping is being proven and it is a fact that babies need their cord blood to cycle back into their bodies. Using the cord blood for anything else or cutting it immediately after birth is depriving that baby of their much needed blood. Obviously you are not educated in birth since you mentioned that.

@lemonjuicemama-- garbage. Use the core blood as a back up for you or your fam in that placenta, but eating it is sheer cannibalism. There's no reasoning being that nasty. It's ASININE. AND YES... i'm judging harshly. Common sense MUST make a come-back.

The problem with children today is the BAD PARENTING....... @4:14

I encapsulated my placenta myself, at home for consumption. The placenta is still very much needed today as it was for our ancestors. Consuming your placenta can help ward off post partum blues b/c you are taking the hormones your body needs after giving birth and abruptly stopping many hormones. Your levels drop rapidly and placenta in pill form can help level them out . Not only does it help with this...it works wonders for PMS to level out hormones. It's easy to capsulate it and so amazing!

i think it would be much better to write first the things that you would want to say. to make things clearer and to avoid having barricades in understanding what your explanations are... a film review should be organized and well planned. although you have your point. thanks anyway...

In hospitals, the best practice today is considered to be to give it to the mother w/in 10 seconds of being born, for bonding, as opposed to wisk it away.I dont know how recent this change was made, and it does not happen that way everywhere. I felt bad when i saw my first hospital birth as a student. The lady did not want an extra 3 students and a professor in the room with her. I would feel the same way too, but out of 6 weeks of OB their was only 1 birth. How else will we learn?

You must be a Midwife, if you are ever in Miami and i happen to be pregnant i'll hire you to do my home birth...your videos are great! please i beg you keep them coming...

hell, you wanna see a movie?...i would take you to the movies
I'm not sure about that one - but compared to the gentleness of a natural birth, most hospitals whisk the baby away, suction it, wash any blood and vernex off and so on - then they hand it to the mom, all clean and shiny. I don't think all that is necessary.
