Right on, wasn't sure if you ever made it over there. I think you'll be very happy with the 12' x 12'. Lookng back I wanted to go with that but we also needed to keep the weight down as we have it on skids and wanted to have the option of moving in around if necessary so it's a little more portable. Also think you'll enjoy the selective cut on the wood lot there, you'll be able to see more wildlife cruising around and it will dry up the ground better for sure. Nice patch of bush!

Very nice.. What are you guys going to do about the gaps between the boards you used for siding?

@goingoffgridblog Good question as the gaps will get bigger as we used green hemlock. We are hoping to eventually use cedar shingles on the outside. Not sure if we will use typar to wrap, and/or use "great stuff" to fill the gaps.
