Sorry about not responding to all of these wonderful comments, I just don't really check that kind of thing ever.

To answer some questions - I'm aware they know how to swim from birth. Shadow loved to swim, and we had a little tub in the backyard just for him. I just didn't know what else to call it.

you need to be careful smuggling ferrets into california. i read about a girl that was just driving through with her two ferrets and they were confiscated and then put to sleep as opposed to being returned to her. it was really sad. if you have to travel through california find a ferret sitter!!

No they don't, if you're in nevada, they get sent to local shelters. In california they get sent to california ferret rescue who ship them to shelters in nevada. I already got caught once and i got him back on the down low
