...First saw Buddy live at the Atlantic City Pop Festival in the late 60's. Was impressive from the start. His vocal range and funk/blues/rock drumming style hasn't been seen since, and may never be again. RIP, Buddy...you're missed.
i think back in the day it was more abou making music than money. now it seems you cant get signed unless you have the look and sound of a certain trend. obviously thats not to say there arent artists who are out for music. its just harder to find them. and unfortunatly, no buddy died last year actually.
