Me and my gorgeous horse 'Andre'. Andre sadly passed away 29/9/08 due to a badly broken leg. I'm crushed!! I loved this boy so much and he will be forever missed...

It's 1 year today (29/9/09) that my beautiful horse ANDRE passed away (29/9/08). I still miss him heaps and often think about him. I put some flowers on his grave today and was touched to see that the tulip that my friend planted on his grave 1 yr ago is just coming through :-) A sweet reminder of how special he was.

thanks. She was 34 so she died of old age.
She passed away very peacefully I think.
When I wrote that i just got off the phone with my horse riding trainer.
It came so sudden.
She had a wonderful life and taught a lot of kids to ride.

@TheCheekyrider Sorry to hear you lost Skippy in such a horrible way especially after 7 years of having him in your life :-( I feel your pain and in time it will get a little easier for you. I have a wonderful friend who encouraged me to get another horse as I didn''t want another one after loosing Andre. However I did get another one. I sadly out grew him and had to sell him after 2yrs,To be honest, it was just as painful. I now have a lovely 16hh percheron gelding. All the best Cheekyrider :-)

I too am sorry for your loss. I actually made this video before he passed away. I didn't want to make people feel sad, I just wanted to use it to honour and celebrate his life. He deserved that :-)

My old lesson horse passed away today 6/18/09 sighs. I am crying behind the computer.

OMG I am so sorry to hear that. How old was your horse? I hope your horse passed away peacefully. It's so heart breaking I know. Take care.
