His answers were excellent. Paxman had sod all to say really, he tried to make Cable look stupid; Cable is not stupid, so he didn't come across so.

I fail to see why the topic is labelled so, but it was a good vid, and kudos to LibDems for being decent on a lot of stuff I've seen so far. Cheers for the upload, I feel it has somewhat backfired.

I like Jeremy Paxman when he's grilling politicians who are obviously deliberately avoiding questions but when the politician is giving straight, honest answers he just come across as a prat.

Paxman is a moron (who probably happens to have an expensive house and dodges tax using his expensive accountants). Paxman is one of those who probably pays less tax on the millions he makes each year than someone on minimum wage.

Cable earned a Ph.D in economics, and is the only one I (like millions of others) have faith in to fix the mess left by Labour and the Tories. He was, after all, the only one to predict the recession we're in today (and that was 9 years ago).

I'm all for paxman grilling politicians who refuse to answer his questions but he does come across as a bit of a belligerent and argumentative little boy when his questions are directly and comprehensively answered and he continues with pedantic and ridiculous little remarks in which he tries to make out that common sense is not on offer. Unfortunately Mr Paxman common sense tends to be spoken by Mr Cable most of the time, and in this instance you were painted as a prize muppet in contrast.
