I'm a history education major with a focus in the civil war and I'm from the south and my ancestors were Confederates. But I give full admiration to the Federal army for their sacrifices as well as the sacrifices of the Confederacy. Such a moving speech truly deserves to be remembered throughout history. I pray the sacrifices of our soldiers from all wars and including the Confederates will never be forgotten.
