Not really sure if it warrants being called a Stirling Engine... but most people seem to lump these in with Stirling Engines.

  • it is a sterling or "heat engine" but probably more correctly called "lamina flow" sterling.

  • not thermoacoustic. You should hear a sound if it was thermoacoustic.

  • can you tell me how far the piston needs to move inside the cylinder?
