Miss manny-what was that?
selena-oh nothing.
miss manny-well okay, please take the seat next to nick.
selena-(sighs) okay.(Walks over)
nick-im surprised u found ur way here.(smirks)
selena-shut up jonas.
nick-(rolls his eyes)
miss manny-okay, well today were learning about our partners.
selena-what? im confused. I dont have a partner.
miss manny-well its lucky for you school started only last week, so we havnt picked partners yet.
selena-so what are we learnign about them?
miss manny-whatever you want to know. Ask your partner 3 things about them, just so you get aquainted.
selena-sound fair.
victoria-(raises her hand) so whos our partners?
miss manny- this calss is kinda small, so i'll pick partners. To make it easy, your partner will just be the person your sitting next to.
nick&selena-WHAT?!
miss manny-is there a problem?
nick-no ma'am.
selena-uh yea!
nick-(whispers) chill selena
selena-uhm miss manny, me and nick, we dont really, uhm, get along.
miss amnny-well after this year together, im sure you will.
selena-so theres no convincing you?
miss manny-nope. So everyone, turn to your partner and ask away (walks over to her desk and starts looking through papers)
selena-(turns to nick) what do u wanna know?
nick-uhm, you live with me, i think i know everything i need to.(rolls his eyes)
selena-okay. well i wanna ask you somethng.
nick-what?
selena-when you found out i was coming to live with you, what did your parents tell you?
nick-what do u mean?
selena-what did they tell you about us?
nick-they said two 17 year old girls were coming to live with us for the rest of the school year. YOu were being sent here by your dad, who thought you needed to learn a lesson about responsibility.
selena-thats it?
nick-yea.
selena-they didnt tell you anything about why we were so spoiled.
nick-wveryone assumed you were just brought up that way.
selena-we werent. Half the time we spent money, because our parents ignored us. Like we wanted attention.
nick-well thats a sad story, but its not gonna make me feel bad for you or anything like that.
selena-i wasnt trying to make you feel bad for me.
nick-it sounded like you were.
selena- i wasnt.
(bell rings)
selena-(gets her stuff and leaves)
nick-(watches her walk out)(talking to himslf) nick, what have you gotten yourself into.
