I got to Abilene just as the storms were firing and soon I was in perfect position to view a very low wall cloud. I followed the storm to the NE and at Breckenridge I punch through the storm from the NW through the hook into the tornado damage path. I just missed the tornado by a few mins (or less).

Resident on Breckenridge here, was looking for the tornado as it went through. I was downtown when it hit the airport, so just missed it by a minute. Great footage!

Wow! That is a great wall cloud. It has a nice lowering base to it, and the structure of the wall cloud is something to see. Great footage of the storm. I am glad you didn't get hit by hail too much. the aftermath footage of the storm shows the Tornadic supercell's intensity.

What a mess. There seemed to be several people on this storm but it must have been hard to see the twister as I haven't seen a shot yet, just the aftermath.

omg same here. Also, my mom woke me up around 3:15 that morning b/c of the tornado in West Plano. I live on the east side of the town, but we were lucky since the tornado skipped us. close call. A lot of kids were grumpy at school the next day, as well as teachers, due to some lack of sleep.
