Yeap. CosmicFork is right, the boom could be higher to give the sailor more support. But it's day 2, so no big deal. But the sailor needs to look ahead also, this also improves balance.

I've been learning to "Windsurf" this summer too... But, here in The States, (I live in The Great Lakes) we call it Board Sailing. Girls do learn to boardsail faster than boys... maybe they just have an intuitive sense of balance. I do think that her Boom on her Mast is set a little low, but maybe they just set them that way for "newbies", lol. ~~~I'm sorry that she hurt her knee, hope she better now, and blasting on a Beam Reach across the water... Oh, what a great sport!

Yes. This video woos made on end of second day of short demo school.
Girls usually learn much easier/faster than boys.
For first steps in windsurfing on light wind is enough 2-4 hours with teacher.
But without help you can easily go on "wrong way"...
