US Navy Blue Angels
2010 Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow
Naval Air Station Pensacola
Pensacola, Florida
Saturday November 13, 2010
IN THIS VIDEO, I've taken things a step further and this will apply for Blue Angels' videos from here on out. The video is being brought to you in its entirety with four different "acts", described below.
Act one features Fat Albert, the support C-130 Hercules for the Blues, takes to the skies in his "new" routine - one in which you have seen in years past as the JATO bottles were slowly dwindling. There's no more JATO demonstrations, as the 2009 Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow had the last JATO.
Acts two, three, and four feature the six demonstration pilots climbing into their F/A-18 Hornets, taking to the skies, and returning after their LAST airshow performance of the 2010 season. This is one of the FINEST performances you will ever see them fly and represents the absolute best of the team throughout the entire 2010 season. Listen during the end of the video as he introduces three of the pilots for the last time and their "callsigns". It's truly hilarious and is one of the reasons why I'll keep coming back to this show.
If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
