Hiding the first sweep is great for the current session. But I have a problem that if I close the session, open a new session, and open the part, then the hidden sweep comes back. Is there a way to fix that?

Make sure you dimension the line correctly. You have to make the lenght of the line the dimension that rule this function. There should be 2 dimensions, one for the angle and one for the lenght of the line.
