Touch sensitive surface using a single sensor only. In general one needs as many sensors as dimensions for positioning, e.g. GPS needs at least 4 satellites to find the 3D position + time. Here 2D positioning is done using only a single sensor - a simple PC microphone.

  • Excellent! May I know how was the recorded audio analyzed?were you using the Goertzel algorithm or were you using other algorithms to analyze the tones?

  • We used a template match algorithm based on the correlation function.
