A Tragic Story of a Suitcase

Traveling on a BA Business Class-- When I tried to inquire about my missing suitcase and the compensation thereof, I was deemed "silly", "impatient", and "demanding" by British Airways Customer Service Agents.

So what else is new? BA is like the worst airlines in the world with luggage they are also rude assholes most the time. At one point they charged me for a $4600.00 ticket in ADDITION the one I really bought. After going through a bunch of BS they admitted they screwed up but I still had to survive on next to no money for a few days while they credited my bank card.

By all means, clothes, shoes and non brake-able items... But glass bangles? Again, just stupid...

As a former baggage handler, I urge everyone to eliminate baggage tags, long ribbons added to the zippers that serve to "identify" your bag, and any other items that WILL get caught in the machinery and belts that the suitcases travel on.

These things get caught and then the bag gets ripped to shreds, often causing a breakdown of the baggage-delivery system which could last a couple hours, holding up other bags.

Best advice: pack light and sensible with a SMALL carry-on.

I am sorry to say this... but, do you have too much time on your hands? And, since when do people put valuable thing in their hold luggage? Glass Bangles? Even if the case did arrive on time and in one piece, that was just silly really...
