Juliann Kuchocki -- Vocalist singing title track from her album Don't Explain at Old Mill Toronto
A natural jazz & blues diva, Juliann Kuchocki has exploded on to the Toronto music scene after over two decades of globetrotting working as a vocalist, actress, director, choreographer and producer. Her Don't Explain CD release in April 2010 drew a crowd of over 250 to one of Toronto's premier jazz venues- The Old Mill Ballroom, and she has quickly become a favorite in the venues she plays. Other music career highlights include: numerous government, city, corporate, private, fashion and trade shows, commercials, TV, film, and music festivals including headlining the Mont Tremblant Jazz Festival, Celebrate Toronto street festival.
Her passion for music and sharing creative energy with an audience radiates from the stage. In person, one is quickly impressed by the scope of her perspective and confident yet humble personality. She is equally informed by the glare of the spotlight and sheer hard work behind the scenes. Juliann is the proud owner and director of Pro Arts.

"As I develop in my life and career, I tend to see the big picture a lot easier in all aspects of my life. As for writing music, songs often come to me in their entirety. It has been such a joy to finally be able to focus on singing, and an incredible experience to work with so many skilled and gracious musicians in my live shows and with the making of the my new album Don't Explain." Says Juliann. " I'm even more excited by the prospect of developing my own songwriting voice and introducing new audiences to my original material."
For over 20 years prior to launching her career as a vocalist, Juliann was a national level stage, TV and film performer, with tour credits including Cats in Germany, Joseph...with Donny Osmond --U.S and Canada national tour, and Beauty & The Beast in Japan. It is a celebration of a life's journey, that has been by turns exciting and glamorous yet also challenging and painful. Her own indomitable spirit and influences from great jazz, blues, R&B, soul and pop divas past and present shine all the way through.
