  • Very nice job! you should get some of those japaneese files they are just awesome (the ones with the red tang is the sharpest ones) and they leave an incredible surface as well .. comparing to ordinary rasps or regular files. well just my 2 cents .. keep it up it does look awesome

  • Great job! Quite the candle stick!

  • Try putting a "mop sander" in your drill press, it works well.

  • Some good patternmakers rasps with handles would make the shaping easier, also try cutting long sander belts into strips and using them to sand the inside surfaces.
