We have been told this is an emergency. We have been told the costs are unsustainable. The politicians want to pass this before the new cigarette tax for healthcare tax kicks in and lowers the uninsured numbers. The two public options we have now, Medicare and Medicaid, are ripping of our hospitals by $50 Billion+ each year and hospitals are passing this cost onto private insurance companies. This coupled with the fact healthcare is a commodity means like gold we can no longer afford it. We have a severe economic crisis at hand not a healthcare crisis. Fix the economy and you fix healthcare.

  • About those 12 millian that qualify for medicare and dont get medicare, they are called homeless!!!!!You put yourself on the streets and try to get anykind of assistance without an address.30 million 18 million or whatever may not be a chrises to you but it is to those that are sick and uninsured.Did your political watchdog group excist 1 yr ago? Who is your watchdog group looking after anyways? Just Democrats?

  • Thanks for your input. We cannot solve a problem now without spending money on something else that is not the problem. I am a believer that the mainstream media are the mind washers and I am existing in my own plane of existence examining each fact with resolve and doubt.

As far as the vet costs they are much lower than human costs, the graph is to show that proportionately they have increased the same %.

We need endowed free clinics to solve the healthcare cost crisis not politics.

  • My mom worked in a welfare office for 10 years. I am painfully aware of the facts including the homeless.

My watchdog group is watching out for tax payers.

  • mrpawsiki-

Thanks for your input. I live in Iowa we have 11/12+ people covered by HC insurance here and for us additional health care taxes/costs are a total rip off. In a 10 minute video it is not possible to provide the depth and details you are expecting. My arguments are all individual points not necessarily connected or related.

  • If you are alive and in the United States you pay taxes maybe not payrol taxes but you pay them state and federal.

  • I paid a (private) insurance company $1200.00 A month for over a year for family coverage after a year we had to use it They denied it all!!! Claimed it was all pre-existing conditions and none where!!Oh and my work payed about $300.00 a month so that would have been$1700.00 a month going to this insurance company. They stole from me and Im not alone. Now Im being sewed.

  • Perhaps.

  • If the cost of healthcare risen at the same time as the cost of taking your animal to the vet then what I have to ask you is....The government insures animals too?Lol you are Bias and mindwashed and need to rethink your views and tear up those meaningless, stupid graphs you show.Between the graphs and your views were a big contradiction. You use them because that was how you were mind washed.
