I was privileged to attend the Inauguration of Barack Obama. After the ceremony, George W. Bush got in a helicopter and headed off to Texas. The reaction to his departure was rather astounding to me, and since it probably didn't make many news broadcasts, I'm sharing my footage here.

  • "I was privileged to attend the Inauguration of Barack Obama." I would not call that a privilege. I would call that very unfortunate.

  • I'm sorry you feel that way.

  • How cool you got to attend the inauguration spent days

setting up classroom after classroom to view it on TV

and the rest were going to see it in the auditorium

streaming live off the net, got as far as when yo yo mar

starting playing music then the feed froze never did get

to see it live just reruns and youtube.

  • I teach, and from what I heard from my colleagues and students, the same thing happened at my school. I'm thinking the demand put too much strain on the servers...but I'm not a computer expert, so I'm not sure. Sorry that happened to you...

  • @killamike117 Sorry you feel that way about our nation's history in regards to racism, if to a legislative level as well.

  • @STEVO7600 Homeland Security = Unnecessary -- Patriot Act = Unnecessary (and a criminally unconstitutional piece of legislature) -- Entered Iraq with no proof of WMDs or backing by UN -- Tax Cuts for Wealthy during Recession -- Permitted Torture (which got us nothing) -- $700 billion to Wall St... All of those were necessary?

  • 2 years ago today marked the end of an error.

  • he died a month later, how bad could he have been?

  • agree with you there, not saying he is a bad or good president, but if you think about a lot of crap to deal with

  • I agree 100%. It could've been worse. The USA experienced some of the most trying times in its history, and Bush was unfortunate enough to have to deal with alot of it. His decisions were unpopular, yet necessary.

  • how cud u .

  • What about Harrison?

  • Who is before? Nixon?
