Initially inspired by those lush Yes album covers of the 1970s, this commercial for the Rolf Agency in Moscow explores how dangerous and magnificent the world was before mankind screwed it up. In that perfect world, is the Mitsubishi Outlander, maneuvering through the chaos then ultimately the beauty. So in actuality, this spot is 4.54 billion years long condensed into 30 seconds.

Opening with a shot of what looks like a churning galaxy in space, the spot effectively begins with a bright flash of light quickly that changes the scene to the parched ground of a new earth. Against the dying light of the Big Bang, we see the silhouette of the Mitsubishi in the distance. As the vehicle races through the desolate landscape, the planet begins to heave and shift, evolving at a rate that threatens the speeding automobile. Rock formations burst out of the earth as thorny, spiked vines twist into tangled forests. Fish and water suddenly flow through the scene, snakes and lizards materialize, and a verdant wilderness emerges. The Mitsubishi, however, always stays just a wheel rotation ahead of the explosive growth, eventually coming to rest on a moss and lichen-covered mountaintop.
