"Match" | Project: Direct 2009 Entry

(FYI - It looks slightly better in HQ)

This is a little story about paranoia, pyromania, and a very bad phone that's like the little voice inside your head.

I wish I knew about this competition earlier! I literally only found out about it a week ago. Even without the resources or time, I still had a lot of fun running around putting this together! I hope you like it. Or at least watch it the whole way through.

I was hoping it wouldn't be too obvious, but clearly I am an amateur. Be gentle! I didn't intend to impress anyone and on that front, I guess I succeeded! I just wanted to participate, that's all. I was really inspired by all the really incredible films I've seen from everyone else during these past few days and I'm already thinking about next year.

Thank you to all the people who commented! I didn't respond on here, but I hope I remembered to leave comments on all of yours.

its jus amazing how many different approaches were taken. I consider my film an art film as well. But there werent that many "good" art films, alot of people jus did random shit and tries to pass it off as art without making ther shots or story appeal to the audience. Its good your film was appealing so i give you propz. having said that i feel like everyone (pretty much the majority) made films about love or death (the 2 extremes of good and bad) there were very few films like ours.
