how true,if you havent got heart and soul you cant play jazz, it all comes from the heart sure

Joe died this year... I just found out. Almost cried :( This is what is missing from most of today's musicians, they are not irreplaceable. There world won't lose a spark in the darkness on most cases. Joe was irreplaceable, and still is.
