Spend some quality time around Road Atlanta with BMW Team RLL driver Dirk Werner and the No. 55 M3 GT during practice for the 14th annual Petit Le Mans. Having already clinched the Team and Driver championships, the team is racing for a second consecutive Manufacturer's title for BMW and the Tire crown for Dunlop. September 29, 2011

  • @andlisz I think its because the door is as light a piece of sheet metal (¿crabón fribé?) as they could put on. On these ALMS race cars the door provides little structural support and probably flexes under the weight of the cornering and bumps on the track.

    am I the only one, who noticed the gap between the door and the chassis? it occurs at high speeds :) you can see it on the top rightish part of the video :) I was just wondering if someone did not lock the door properly, or it's because of something else (plastic door maybe?).
