You are given a alphanumeric code that you refer to when you give your tip. You are asked to call back after 90 days to see if your tip led to an arrest. If it did then you are eligible for a cash reward which you can pick up at one of two banks. You give your code when you pick it up. we never ask for your name or any other identification.
