Byzantine Swastika

Byzantine Swastikas are usually to be found in churches which means it was considered a sacred symbol by the Byzantines and it was regarded in high esteem.

Such Swastika symbols are even to be found inside the Haghia Sophia Cathedral in Constantinople.

The Swastika was a sacred symbol which was twisted and defamed in the 20th century.
