After a long hiatus, I'm back making videos. Spent the weekend at Catalina Island diving Casino Point as part of Ed Stetson's Annual Catalina Trip from Santa Barbara, along with 80 divers (WOW!) Enjoy!

There is a Part 2 also - hilarity ensues, so look for it

Special thanks to my several dive buddies on this trip: Nate, both Mikes, Jesse, Antonio, Tony, Brent, and the other peeps, and thanks to Ed Stetson for organizing this trip.

  • What camera/video camera/housing are you use? The footage looks great!

  • @njnigam I'm using a Canon SD800IS with the Canon WP-DC9 housing and the flash diffuser it came with Wish I had a strobe but I have actually not gone diving in two years. I might pick it up again in the future though.

  • @njnigam No problem :) I was just there this summer dunking my feet in the tidepools with my friend and I happened to see one about.. hmm 3 inches away from my foot :) I pulled my foot out so fast!

  • @HOMIEANDEFIZZLE Thanks for the info! I was taking pictures of a fish at anacapa in macro setting. I was getting up in its face cuz it didn't seem to care and i didn't know the species. Now that I'm looking back on the pics, I just realized it was a scorpionfish :o

  • Nice Video... Reminds me that I so much want to get back into SCUBA Diving.

  • i am going to avalon late this month is there spearfishing allowed at that dive site?

  • Lol what a couincidence I was in Catalina the same time u were and I lived in Santa Barbara at the time but dude watch out for that scorpionfish if the spines touch you it's extreme pain and you die in minutes
