HEE HAW Road Trip To MotherCountry's - Thanksgiving UP IN THE HOLLER

Come on along for a ride to MotherCountry's house for the Thanksgiving holiday. We're going to be eating Chicken & Dumplings and decorating for Christmas along with heading out to two Thanksgiving family gatherings. It's a Hee Haw good ole time in the Holler over in Alabama.

Ok, I've officially adopted MotherCountry. I could just grab her and squeeze. You know there is that saying about a Southern woman, and she is the epitome of that saying.

Feel free to tell her she has a new family member: Jonathan. And I'm more than willing to help eat that Chicken-n-Dumplins.

And boy howdy is that not a Southern attic or what. Hunstville, oh good Lord, it makes me miss it endlessly. My entire family was in Decatur for Thanksgiving except me and my wife.

It's always great to see how much of an effort you Americans make in Christmas decorating! Wow! Can't think of settings like those here in The Netherlands, except for perhaps a few excentric families and of course the large department stores.. Anyways, great work! :D

Jim I watched this video the other night and I had to come back and comment. Your Mom is just the cutest woman. OMG, what a beautiful snow village. My kitchen cabinets are like your mom's. Opened up at the top. I called my husband over to show him what a great job you did to give him a hint hint hint! hahahaha. I'm so glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Hugs!
