i love the bogner uberschall. we have two of them in addition to a herbert and vh4 diezel in our studio at home. amazing amplifiers but with price stickers to match. i've played many amps and prefer the Uberschall unless you can make the financial stretch to buy the herbert. the herbert diezel sounds too awesome and nothing comes close to being as complete.

I have heard these amps recorded with better mikes and these amps are "very special" and sound great... this video camera mike could not handle the power of the amp.
I just dont like the bogner clean channels that is the only thing that has prevented me from buying these amps so far.

is it just me or does his talking remind you of Arnold the Governator? Its just that whole Germanic/American mix. Pretty cool

lol i dont think ill sell my special edition have u seen the price they go at now? like £3000 i bought mine new about 2year ago for £2000 with the footpedal that cost £250 the tone hereis just not keyed in properly. Ive played one and its more verging on a diezel einstein, apart from the eistein sound like it has about 3 keeley compresseres in front of it:) which some people think is a bad thing! i disagree.

this amp has got a very VERY distinct tone, i kinda like it, but i think the soldano dectatone does it better maybe havent played either i have an ENGL special edition and im not that happy with it

McCartys sound particularily good w/ Uberschalls

man, seems like a high gain dedicated amp. Very cool having 2 channels both hitting off on the high gain.
