  • I remember Robert Natividad from my high days in E Abada High School. He was one of the 2 music teachers there. I could still hear him sang "I believe". I live in Australia for quite sometimes and lost touch about anyone or anything. I didn't realise he has a television show or that he was already dead until I saw this You Tube. It's sad, he got one of the best tenor I ever heard and one of the good-looking ones.

  • You must remember me then. I was Miss Rollins then, an English teacher, who was in charge of the drama guild.

  • A tribute to Robert Natividad by my youngest son , Oliver. He passed away while I was visiting mu American sister and brother in the USA.

  • one of the best male singers in the Philippines.. grew up listening to his music via Aawitan Kita(RPN 9).may he rest in peace...

  • nakikiramay po ako, hndi po ako mk paniwla n sya'y pumanaw n pla...c sir robert natividad po ay isa pong taga pag turo smin s aawitan kita restaurant(S.C.W).

  • I am a fan of Mr. Robert Natividad, used to watch/listen to him in "Aawitan Kita." I loved his voice and technique, how he managed to sound so natural, so pleasing to the ear. He was one of the reasons I took up formal vocal training. This saddens me... I had no idea he had passed away. Hope more of his performances get uploaded on YouTube. Thanks for posting this.

  • good job oliver, God knows how much i loved your dad, he was my best friend a mentor and a father to me, I havn`t attended the wake b`coz of circumstances. he still lives in my memoirs and pics that i had with him much of good times way back in ihaw. He still is my idol and true king of kundiman and tagalog songs, and he has the most range of repertoires from classic to kundiman to pop.

  • wish...they have a compilation of all his songs...or perhaps you can share more of his songs to us...really missed those times...aawitan kita was my late mom's fav. program...missed my mom so much...and our happy moments watching this program and admiring Mr.R,Natvidad's voice and the rest...

  • my deepest respect to Mr R.Natividad...I grew up watching him and listening to his kundiman songs in Aaawitan Kita..wish they would show all its episode...

  • Very sad to hear of his passing. My Mom and I used to watch Aawitan a lot in the 60s and 70s and he was our favorite male talent.

  • Gee! What a small world! Your name is familiar. I'm looking at my 1970 graduation clippings of Ang Sinag and The Guidepost. There's a photo of the teaching staff. Unfortunately,I must have cut off their names. R. Natividad is there. I must know you. I used to be the managing editor of Ang Sinag and all the editors and staff of the Guidepost were my classmates. We must have covered some performances from your said guild.
