Part 40: Down the Elevator and into the Casino Vault! (Fallout NV Gameplay)

Now that I have the instructions to open the elevator down to the vault, I go back to Vera's suite and get Christine to help me with the speech. I can now play the sequence into the intercom, and I descend into the depths of Sierra Madre! First, I see a huge vault entrance through force fields, so I make my way through a back door.

I see that I'll have to deal with speakers all the way through this, since my collar keeps beeping like a biatch in heat. I pass through one chamber and knock out speakers, dying once. I go into a second larger chamber and bash out what I can, also shutting down the whole speaker system. The third and largest chamber is a disaster... speakers AND security holograms! :O I try to change the holograms' behavior, and I am only mildly successful. There must be hologram emitters around here, so I set out to search for those in order to turn off these damn things...

I'm the same as you culveyhouse. Whenever the security holograms turned red I was like "WOAH" and then I had to run away to make them turn blue again! Kind of annoying at times!

@90BritishBiker yeah. true that. when the message popped up that said you will never be able to return, i didn't think twice about it. i have no idea why they would think that old speakers would be a good enemy.

@MJF941 I found my problem was I'd missed out an unshielded speaker at the top. I hate the speakers and I hate this DLC, glad to be back in the mojave.
