My 2 favourite controls in card magic.
1. Cherry Control. First published by Ricky Smith in Penumbra magazine.. and later via On Demand on dananddave.com
2. a Control that I like to call "the sentry".
If my mind isn't playing me...I saw a similar move before...a few years ago actually...the performer (that is still unknown to me) called this "the optical glide". I've refined the handling a little bit for my needs and this is pretty much what it looks like nowadays.
Cheers
EDIT::// Thanks to Ben Long (a member of the dananddave.com forums) I was able to bring some futher information about the second Control into the daylight.
The basic concept of the move was first published about 40 years ago under the name "movable card pass" (strange name cuz there actually is no pass in use) by (who else could it be) Edward Marlo (who literally kinda did everything in the past :D). You might find a discription in the book called "M.I.N.T vol. 2".
Music by "Tiesto"
I thought the sentry was too obvious, but I love the cherry

@BierGarten100 more speed? hes not doing this as a trick. its a control, and when you put a card in the middle and are not going to immediatly show it on top you can wait as long as you like to do the control this is meant to be done casualy as if your just toying with the cards as you patter, no ones looking at the deck anyway.
