All over Asia and in many indigenous cultures throughout the world the serpent is honoured with respect and plays a significant role in creation stories. Even in Pagan Europe it was/is given the same respect. It is only when the judeo-christian belief system came about that Naga's are seen as something purely negative. But, in truth, it is the judeo-christian structure that has brought the most negativity to human kind. I'll stick with the wisdom of Asia thanks !

The sacrificial rituals where children are used are for interdimentional beings who today, pose as third dimention "Aliens" to fool people like in the past.
