1st Performance - The Collective - "Rolling In The Deep" by Adele - Sing Off - Series 3

I actually think she has a very cool raspy voice and she could do well in like an R&B type song from Macy Gray..but for this one, i wasn't too happy with...i don't know, i think for this type of song it needed a specific pitch and her voice didn't seem to mesh well with the song..but that's just my opinion. B-

i totally agree about the first chorus. she just didn't nail that cresendo like it needed to be and then everyone dropped out which made it more noticable. but her voice was beautiful in the lower registers. a little too much vibrato for my taste, but it fit for this song.

Jadore Ruby.... but Rachel and she should have so done the cresendo on the first round of the chorus together... the group dropped their sound back as the song rose to a peak after that everyone assumed it was Ruby's fault... Over all the arrangement was way sultry and delicious especially when the bassist came in over Rachel and Ruby in the second half of the chorus with that sorta trumpet horn mimicky thing lol whatever it was lol

I think that they were by far the best of that night. I just loved how calm and almost seemingly intimidating their demeanor was. They're all nonchalant, sitting on the ledges and singing without breaking a sweat. I thought that was brilliant. That made it look so easy and that for me have them prominence in that competition. They were my favourite, and in my honest opinion, had the most potential seeing as they had the best singer in the Competition, Rachael. And Ruby+Rcaehl=EPIC! xD

I am tired of hearing Adele songs used in competitions it's not wise it limits the creativity and there are many better songs they could have used
