she now lost the "childish" sound in her voice,,, her voice is very very brilliant! Before FANTASIA is better than her, now DIANA is better than anyone!!!!

YES. She was on American Idol. You obviously must be from another country or something. She competed against Fantasia in the Top 2 on Season 3 (2004). She came in Runner-Up. This was aired live five years ago a year after her album "Blue Skies" was released. It got poor album sales and she left RCA and is pursuing Broadway full-time now, while on the side still doing music and shopping around for a Country label. She has an EP out "Unplugged In Nashville", that was released on iTunes last Feb.

LOVE this song still, but the lighting was bad on her face throughout the whole song. The stage setting and venue looked cheesy here. Her band, however, was waayy over the top watching them play in the background. It almost frustrates me to watch this, because Diana was cheated and her music career quickly plummeted. It's almost like the show set her up to fail. Weird!

Her debut Post-Idol did decently well, (just like Kat McPhee's had done), and Carboard Castles, still today, is one of my favorite songs! It's very inspiring, as that what the kind of artist Diana fought to portray coming off of American Idol (back in 2004). What I've noticed about her though, is that she has such a clear, flawless tone when she sings and she's rarely ever pitchy now that's matured. She still has such an unbelievable range.. at 2:09-3:30. MAYNE can she BRING it!!

All the videos i have of Diana singing her songs such as Blue Skies, Dreams, and so on, THEY ALL HAVE RADIO DISNEY MUSIC CHOICE. They have good taste. :3

It's because she did a Radio Disney/Music Choice TV special back in early 2005 singing a lot of the songs from her album "Blue Skies". Good choice, though, yeah.
