This video had to be done.
Five years ago I discovered youtube and found a video which got me into vidding. It was "Hermion Is Missing" by JulyChuck. After seeing it for the first time I had a shock. I had no idea you can create something emotional sitting in front of your computer screen. After seeing it for the second time I cried. I watched some more Harry Potter videos and decided to try this out myself. My dad had an editing program and I asked him to tell me the main basics. This is how I got into Sony Vegas. As years went by I had 3 main stages of vidding. The first one was the use of clips only. I had no idea how to make effects and stuff. I don't have these videos on my laptop anymore. The second one was the use of clips with effects, I mostly used b&w and film effect. I still have these on my laptop, but not on youtube. The third one was the use of transitions, more effects and overlays. By this time I started to like my videos a bit. All these 3 stages I've been vidding Harry Potter only. Then new stuff got me interested and I worked with something else. It's been for 2-3 years since I last vidded Harry Potter.

I thought the end of an era won't affect me much. I was wrong. It was much more than just a great fandom. It is my life now, my love for films and kino industry. This is what I want to do with my life and I must not forget that it all started with the boy who lived.

This video is dedicated to my very first youtube subscribers (because you're HP fans), to my friends I met through the fandom and all in all Harry Potter lovers.

It's not the end, it's only the beginning!

I'm in love with your clip choice, and the part where the little boats on the lake come in so clearly after all the whiteness is incredibly creative!
