i think players need to participate in the shoe making so they can protect them selves from injury coz this is career if you carry wrong gears when going to war your dead! like using a knife to fight a machine gun. adidas & Fila have some common cheap R&D for technology that's why basketball model get injured easily hope D.rose could tell them that.One thing about nike they never stop innovating.

Bill Simmons is all about Fila effing up grants legs. They weren't putting nearly the same amount of money and technology into their shoes that Nike and Reebok were at the time

@SneakerHustler I wouldn't say that his career was exactly ruined. The guy is still dunking on fools at age 39! Grant Hill should go to the Hall of Fame without a doubt.

I'm not so sure about the cushioning system on those shoes.
It wasn't exactly Nike Air or Shox. With all the Jumping, Dunks and Landings on the hardwood, you would need decent cushioning to avoid injury.
