@Hofnarrr There's much more to life than most focus on. So much so that we don't even have words for it ('so much that hides'). We might all catch a glimpse of them (eg. the 'nursery rhymes' maybe?), but they evade us mostly. Our inability to grasp them should be no excuse though ('rid me of pretense; no mock defence'), we must continue struggling to fully understand our lives and those escaping higher values, even if we don't understand anything at first (keep 'step(ping) into the night').
