    With the equipment used in this video, the file format will make little difference to the poor quality sound delivered by the bottom-of-the-line quality turntable, tone-arm, cartridge, built-in phono stage, and very likely a crappy analog to digital converter plagued with jitter.

    And why clean the record?

    Just grab the surface with your greasy fingers at 1:14 time frame.

  • When have my USB Turntable plugged in, I can't hear any other sounds coming from my computer. Also, how can I listen to the record even when its not being recorded?

  • AS LONG AS IT CAN GO RIGHT ON TO THE IPOD FROM RECORDS! NOT THRU ITUNES! I WOULD HATE THAT!

  • Why not convert to 88.2Kz 24 bit wav or FLAC. Save that then convert to MP3?
