Lockheed Martin video animation of its High Altitude Airship (HAA) - an unmanned, solar-powered airship designed to stay aloft in the stratosphere for months for surveillance or missile defense. A subscale demonstrator with one-month endurance - HALE-D - was completed in 2009, but did not fly as planned.

@Churchx77 You have a potentially new way to travel. I thought that instead of having cramped rocketships and ballistic launches... you could have a gentler and safe way into outerspace. I know there is a thousand things that have to be solved; to have that freedom of unlimited flight. this fantastic Universe all around us... and most humans die within 100 miles of where they are born. I'd love to be in the darkest, coldest, calmest night and see the Milky Way in all its majesty.

I wish there was some way it was possible to have a rocket with light weight to high thrust that could get a craft like that to Leo? then rocket brake back to Near space and return like a blimp?

Pretty sure this caused a massive conspiracy. As it was spotted by cops in 3 states in the midwest at night. So pretty sure they did test it.
