But in 1992, the station sufferd horiffic vandalism, many of the artifacts and the walls were coevered in graffiti!

I have been noticing that, apart from the odd piece of litter i've seen, but yes they seem so spotless.

I went on the Paris metro a few days ago and yes, I went through this station as well, it's very unusaul, like half station, half museum with acient eygptian, greek and roman artifacts displayed in the station.

It certainly makes you get off the train to have a look around - we did anyway! There are some seriously interesting metro stations in paris, and the lovely thing is they appear to be treated with respect. They are so clean!
