Sorry about the 4 different versions. I guess I'm a perfectionist ^_^ I think I prefer the "seriousness' of the old version a bit more so, it's going to be pretty close to the original. Only with better sound and a few very tiny little variations here and there.
Hope you enjoy it ^_^

This is the RainbowMan Stage music I remade again to sound even more like the original version. I make some comments on the song. The song was made in Famitracker.

This song is featured in RainbowMan'stage in my MegaMan 10 game.
Check out my other MegaMan 10 videos if you haven't already and check out megaphilx.deviantart.com for updates and pictures. ^_^

The original video of RainbowMan's stage:

The "New Version" (Previous):

The supposedly "Final Version"

The stage itself in the game is built but I haven't programmed the enemies yet so I'm not going to show it right away. It's empty : P

I don't own the MegaMan series. It belongs to CAPCOM

  • I still don't like this song compared the the original but I have to ask: will Megaman be able to charge his buster and slide?

  • He should be able to slide, but not charge his buster.

The charge shot should probably become available as a secret unlockable.

  • I figured out why this really doesn't sound like a MM song.

Mega Man songs generally don't have the same notes being played on two different square waves at the same time, which is an effect you use a lot.

  • The parts where I play the same notes at the same time are mostly used to create the "echo" effect. Like what we find in the Stage Select theme from MM5, Flash in the Dark from MM9 or JewelMan Stage from MM9 (At the beginning).

They are not really played at the same time though. Here, I use 2 different instruments. The one in Square 2 starts a little bit after it triggers. It also has a slightly lower pitch. This produces that "echo" effect. You can't get this effect with only one square track.

  • You do know you can have more than one effect in a channel, right?

  • Yes

  • I would like to play this game. Where is it?

  • @die4pie123 At least until Rainbow Dash happened.

  • It looks like Rainbow Man has a HUGE Head compared to his body in this sprite.

  • Very good

  • i rather this version

  • this sounds like a slightly evil circus

  • @StitchedXOnXSmiles now that makes sense. thanks!

  • Well, it's not necessarily the name of the character that makes it. Making a Rainbow Woman would've been unoriginal, expected and somewhat sexist. To a certain extent I can see what you mean, but the character design for a male, rainbow-themed Robot Master would fit more, because the reason he was named Rainbow Man was not after the rainbow you see in a sky, but a prism of light that gives of a multi-colored beam. That's his theme. Lasers and beams.

  • @StitchedXOnXSmiles what i ment was doesn't rainbow man (no offfense MegaPhilX) sound kinda that it would be on a girl character? no boys i know like rainbows.

  • That seems a bit sexist.
