I live in scott co, va what county was that deer killed in? I do a lot of hunting in bath co, an bedford, looks like a bedford deer? awsome job bro...

Hi jon,got the email. im not an expert but have killed some big bucks in my day, Hunting in Georgia is tough. but over the years ive seen more big bucks taken in weed fields than in the woods. i have one that scores 153&1/8 and another 146 that was 23 &1/2 inside.But your buck will beat that. maybe you will try to leave to leave one weed field to try.on cold days they will defiinitely bed in these fields. they think the hunters are in the woods. worth a try . thanks and good hunting.

Nice buck. I suggest you not bush hog all your fields. The field with the weed chest high is where those big bucks go to bed and hide. try it.

We have plenty of thickets to let the deer bed. I've thought about that though, should we let half of it go and only cut the other half? Definitely a good thought.
