@moxie96 It was Blue Peter.
I have noticed a difference between North American and English cultures, in that in England popular music tends to be pan-generational, whereas in the States it seems to be more rigidly defined as being for "X" age group. Not quite sure how to express it, but it's just something I've noticed.

@moxie96 This clip is from kids Saturday morning show Fun Factory, Granada TV 1980.

Saw them live in Liverpool a year after this, 30 years ago!!

1980 definitely, that's the gear they wore that year and the blonde Gibson and Will's Jag were their main axes. Crocodiles came out in 1980 so they were doing the UK TV shows to promote it.

@derek5664 oh that's what it was, the other show like blue peter who had the Buzzcocks sing on their show once or twice.

That might have been a clip from Blue Peter by the underaged pre-teen cheers. I know. A children's show who puts on real music/ complex bands? Trust it to be from the UK, in the USA we'd never dare do that, it goes where it "belongs" on American bandstand with an 17+ age group audience, If the band was popular enough to make an appearance of course.
