This is my younger oscar fish only had him about a week, the tank is 30 gallons ( i know i am have to get a bigger one eventually) . Both of my oscars get along fine, no harrasing and are always swimming together ( not pusing eachother ). Im not sure if these marks are a scracth or hole in the head disease ( i have two filters running always, they eat and dont fight, the ammonia and other chemical levels are in heathly range), it seems to be on one side of my baby oscar ( his name is Rambo ). Please message me with your thoughts!
ok my gourami has a hole on his body but its not a disease he cut himself really deep to an ornament in the aquarium and I have no clue to help him any1 got suggestions he is still living he had it for a week

HITH is a parasite know as Protozoan. It penetrates the host via the sensory pits located on the oscars head and is usually introduced by feeders, therefore its highly contageous. Early signs are white puffyness surrounding the sensory pit and gradual enlargement of the pit. Much like how a cut gets infected if not kept clean, it will worsen. Drain tank, clean rocks and decor and treat new water with Jungle HITH Guard. Repeat every 7-10 days till you see results then once a month till gone. HTHs

Hole in the head sickness are very common around Oscars. I don't have an Oscars but, i do have Piraya Piranhas that are suffering from Hole in the head sickness too. The only medicine that worked for my Pirayas was medicine called "Hole-N-Head Guard." It took my Pirays at least two and a half moths to get that infected gaping holes all sealed up and healed. But there are numbers of medicines out there that are just as effective than this medicine that i just showed you.
