Making of a corset

A little video I made about my newest sewing-project. I apologise for the vocabulary in case some things sound too strange or make absolutely no sense feel free to correct me or ask what I meant.

Used Materials:

1m cotton (inner layer)
1m thick cotton (middle-layer ~ feels like jeans but no stretch)
1m taffeta with emroiderings
black thread
ca 2m of I don't know what it is called.
22 silver eyelets
3m black ribbon
Steel-wire

I had fun making so I hope you enjoy watching, I am open for comments, questions or advice for improvement (especially vocabulary^^)

the only time i got confused was figuring out how you did the channels for the boning.. i read the part about adding the seam to each side of the main seams connecting the layers then you cleaned up the front and all of a sudden you had channels for boning to be put in.. i dont know if i got confused or if you skipped it.. help!

@bengalkisses I think what you mean is in 5:40. I didn't put the images in the same order as they were when I made the pictures, so the channels have an appearance before I actually start talking about them. Sorry for the confusion^^

I only have one big question....How i make the patterns to fit my body? I mean...Those are patterns with a kind of weird form xD, i dont know how to like know where, in my body, does each of the patterns gonna be on...If you can please explain me how to do this i will be so grateful!! Pleasee :D

BTW: I dont even speak english like a native lenguage and i understood the whole video! so cool :D

@mafe2405 I have a video up on how I usually make my patterns... other than that I think there are pretty good patterns one can buy online, there also should be an explanation going with it, but I never tried that out for myself so I'm not quite sure^^

the "what ever it is fabric" is called bias tape... it can be single or double fold; you were using double fold:*)

the last thing to do is to put the eyelets in.. i perfer doing this with a hammer xD.. made my day lolol
