The Drive-In theatre we had here charged by the carload rather than by the person. Unfortunately, the owner was ready to call it quits and his son didn't want the drive-in, so it closed down and there's a Wal-Mart there now
The CAPRI has been run by the Magocs family since 1964. Couldn't ask for a nicer drive in theater experience. three video suggestions: 1: capri mustang 40th 2: weird drive in moment AND 3: cruisin' in coldwater. Speaking of Coldwater, residents there are fortunate to still have the CAPRI. There used to be another drive ion theater there. It closed down a year or two after the more modern and clean CAPRI opened.
In my home town in the 50s and 60s there were 15-20 drive ins but now there is one and it is a 3 screen job. There is another one out in the country and that is about it near me. It is a shame but as a teenager you would find there every weekend with my girl.
I would go there and spend lots of money. Keep drive-ins going. I just lost mine and I am still so depressed. I used to have 3 to choose from. 1's a parking lot. 1's a strip mall. 1's a new stand alone emergency room. This drive is a nice one and I am glad it's still going.
Head over to Flint, MI and check out the US 23 Drive-in which is thriving and added a third screen last year. It is the last operating drive-in theater in the Flint MI area which once had several.

We drive one hour south just to attend movies here, its worth it especially since they do double features.
