my avenger is a 96 and has a different ingine

Avengers came with 2 different engines in 96. The 2.0 4 cylinder or the 2.5 6 Cylinder.

i have a 96 2.5L v6 all wht leather seats an moonroof but mines doesnt say DOHC on it an it stalls when i slow down... it smokes from muff an exhaust in front side of engine... idles high an burns gas an sputters a lil... hit 3000 rpm gettn to 20 25 mph : ).... and it wont go faster than 80... is it o2 sensors fuel module muff. cat. conventor an plugs an wires an distrubutor cap THE ANSWER?

@The4realTruth Sounds like you need to get that looked at by a mechanic. Is it leaking anything? What color smoke? o2 sensors, muffler, cat, spark plugs, none of those things will make a car smoke. Really sounds like a bad head gasket if it's smoking out the tail pipe and under the hood, could be leaking fluids on the manifold making it smoke. Stop driving it and get it to a mechanic!
